Brian Hierholzer
President

Mr. Hierholzer’s 15 year career in telecommunications began with sales management for MCI, followed by management roles in industry revolutionizing start up telecommunications companies. Mr. Hierholzer’s accomplishments include leading sales initiatives for the first to market integrated communications company delivering both voice and data over T1 facilities in the Midwest, managing a sales organization that spanned 28 states for the largest tier 2/3 wholesale DSL carrier in the world, and leading wholesale carrier relationships with the largest telecommunications carriers in the world for a wholesale fiber carrier throughout the central U.S. During this time, Mr. Hierholzer’s active involvement and insight into sales, design engineering, infrastructure planning, network implementation, back-office provisioning and customer care systems led him to found Artisan Communications, one of the first carrier grade, scalable Hosted VoIP PBX solutions in the industry.

Joey Terrazas
Vice President, Channel Development

Joey Terrazas brings 15 years of sales and business development experience in healthcare, technology, web-based software, hardware and consulting. Prior to joining Artisan, Mr. Terrazas was Vice President of Sales and Strategic Partner Relations at Nets to Ladders, a software start-up company delivering enterprise, web-based benefit enrollment solutions to the public sector and non-profit industries. There he was responsible for establishing and managing the company’s sales process, revenue targets and national partner relationships with Microsoft, United Way of America and others.

Previous to Nets to Ladders, Mr. Terrazas co-founded Healthcare Intelligence, Inc. (HCI), a private healthcare focused software and mobile technology company. Among his achievements, he secured the company's equity funding and established HCI as Hewlett-Packard’s exclusive healthcare vertical partner to drive Digital Pen & Paper into the market. Mr. Terrazas also co-founded Austin-based AccuMed Home Health, a home health care company that grew from eight employees to over 300 across five states within 4 years. Revenues in year four exceeded $17 million annually. Mr. Terrazas holds a BBA degree in Marketing from Hardin-Simmons University.
